Psalm 100 A Psalm. For giving thanks
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100 is one of the great songs of thanksgiving in the Bible. It calls us to realize that we belong to God our Maker (vv.3-4), and to praise Him for His goodness, mercy, and truth (v.5).
During a recent reading, however, I was struck by a phrase that speaks of expressing thanks in a tangible, willing way: “Serve the Lord with gladness” (v.2). Many times my service to God is more grudging than glad. I do what I consider my duty, but I’m not happy about it.
Oswald Chambers put his finger on my unthankful attitude when he said: “The will of God is the gladdest, brightest, most bountiful thing possible to conceive, and yet some of us talk of the will of God with a terrific sigh—‘Oh well, I suppose it is the will of God,’ as if His will were the most calamitous thing that could befall us. . . . We become spiritual whiners and talk pathetically about ‘suffering the will of the Lord.’ Where is the majestic vitality and might of the Son of God about that!”

I'm still veryyyy fulll after eating at Eighteen Chef! (((: wonderful! hahas. Played zhong ji mi ma with to finish up the last bits of fries and calamaries. heheh
Went down to Novena, United Square alone today to do my CDS research. whoo.. thankfully i called out the person and a lady came out and agreed to be "interviewed".hee.. But for now, all i know is i haven't even start with any of the revision for quizzes, neither have i start with the project. =XX
Plus, i shall always rejoice in all circumstances. heee.. joy

It's Saturday morning now (: great morning- will be out later to meet people and service (: Anyway, this week's been better i think.. i start to catch up with the piling school work. well, actually not a lot luh. haha XD got to meet some people up along the week, and here it is.. another weekend. :O
I finally got to catch High School Musical 3 yesterday! :DD happyy.. hee.. some people say it's not so nice compared to the previous series. But i think this is a much bigger production lo. more songs, that's the way i like it.. (: yeah.
Ohh.. last few days my Mum found her lost ring back! Latter says it's been missing for few months already, thought she dropped it in the cab, and she was superrrr sad about it, and it's very dear to her. Hee.. before i left school she just found it under the bed! haha, funny hor.. Then she says in Indo, "perhaps God is trying to test me all these while" yeap, i think so too.. though she had prayed for it to be found, though she had given up hope to search or to get it back from the cab driver. And there is no sign for these few months. But God has the perfect plan and timing. It's just for us to trust in Him or not. Whether we have lost it all after we let go, though it hurts alot sometimes. But who knows about tomorrow? and who holds your fate and life? SomeOne Greater up there is all that we Should trust in! :DD

Hehehee yay-ness..! I'm very happy i sang on stage during service this Saturday! :D was pretty nervous when people start flooding in..but when i started praising God, it's just gladness and joy! :D now i really get the feel of it, the joy in serving God in where i can serve at. i know i may not be the best singer but i guess i shall not doubt God in putting me in this ministry.. and everything shall just come out from the inside-out (: hee.. thank you also to the fellow singers n jo-n for all the fun and guidance that you had showered upon me n shirley (: it made my FIRST-time very memorable.hohooo..
What day is it.. yesss.. it's already the beginning of November! gosh, 2 more months to 2009! super fast hor. I guess, there's no more time to lose. know what to do yeah..
Anyway, recently.. don know why i came across quite a number of blogshops. Not that i purposely want to search for it.. it just came you know. Been hearing my friends get some good n cheap stuffs from there. haha. Oh well, rising wants and needs. leads to never ending wants of things. in the end,,, it means nothing at all. (x
